INTERNET SALES OF DIVE EQUIPMENT

The internet has brought the concept of "shopping at home" to virtually everyone, including divers. Almost all manufacturers have web pages that let you view all of their products and make your selections while sitting at home. Many products are being offered by some mail order companies at very attractive prices. Some of the more reputable scuba manufacturers have taken the position that "life support equipment" should be sold only by full service dive centers due to product liability, warranties, and the professional services associated with the products. We agree!

Some problems associated with internet purchases are mail delays, equipment that has no warranties, gray market spin-off products, factory seconds, and un-ordered merchandise. In some cases "bait and switch" seems to be the norm! In all cases you really don't know what you are getting until it's delivered.

Some manufacturers do not allow sale of their products via email or mail order to off-island residents. We will certainly honor this policy. However, we also recognize that some areas have no dealerships capable of servicing a customer's needs and as a full service dive facility we will try and meet these needs.

WHERE ARE YOU? If you live in an area that does not have a full service dive center close to your residence carrying the products you want, or cannot provide the services to obtain these products, then there is a very good chance that we can sell to you.

Before we will sell any product that manufacturers deem a "closed product" we will verify that there is no authorized dealer in your location.

PRICE POLICY: If you find a product on the internet and we represent the manufacturer, we will MATCH THE INTERNET PRICE of the item and add no more than 15% to cover our costs of shipping, Guam gross receipt taxes, set-up and testing, and applicable warranty certifications. In almost all cases this duplicates the price you would "finally" pay after your receive it and provides you with the opportunity to get the products very quickly.

This service is available to all residents of Guam, the Northern Mariana islands, Micronesia and elsewhere. Also, we will offer some "Super Specials" that anyone can purchase great savings without looking anywhere else.


1. Email us info@mdaguam.com --or-- fax us at 671-477-6329 with the following information: Identify the website source (www, etc), item and the price that you found. We will confirm these prices and we will then submit our price to you for approval via phone or email. Upon your approval, simply call, email or mail the quotation back to us with your credit card information, money order, or cashiers check drawn on a U.S. bank. We will immediately inform you via email, fax, or phone when to pick the items up.

2. We will setup and test the items (as applicable) at NO additional charge.

3. All applicable warranties will be validated at NO additional charge. This includes all applicable lifetime warranty policies from all manufacturers.

4. Our normal 30 day satisfaction guarantee will apply. Credit issued for returned items will be via credit card or in-store credit voucher only. Returned items must be in new condition and with the original packing/containers and sales slips. A 15% restocking fee applies to all items returned.

5. Shipping is normally by U.S. Priority Mail, Insured and Registered for tracking to you. International shipping can be arranged.

RESTRICTIONS: Please note that this is exclusively an email, letter, or fax service. We will NOT give price quotes, take orders or hold items for internet purchases at our stores or via phone unless prepaid or other arrangements have been made. No other in-store or 5-Star discounts will apply to any mail orders.
