ADVANCED OPEN WATER The Adventures in Diving program offers both the Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver certifications. If you complete any three adventure dives, you can earn your PADI Adventure Diver certification. If you complete your Deep Adventure Dive, Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and three Adventure Dives for a total of five, you can earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification. Why Advanced Open Water Diver? After your five dives, you’ll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment. Cert level required: Open Water.

PADI ENRICHED AIR COURSE This is the best $$$ you'll ever spend if you want to make longer and safer dives. Quite simply, Nitrox (enriched air) is NOT for deep diving, but is just about perfect for all dives above 120'. The course takes you through the theory and practical use of Nitrox, and includes the manual, tables, and instructions. No dives are required for this course. Cert level required: Open Water.

DEEP DIVER The PADI Deep Diver course familiarizes divers with the skills, knowledge, procedures, techniques, and hazards of diving between depths of 60 to 130 feet. This is not a course for learning how to do decompression dives. We do, however, talk about proper equipment for deep dives; review the symptoms of nitrogen narcosis, decompression sickness, and flying after diving recommendations. The use and practicality of dive computers while making deep dives is extensively covered. The four dives done for certification are all at varying depth, gradually acclimating the participant to different and deeper depths. This course is also strongly recommended for anyone interested in the PADI Wreck Diver Course. Cert level required: Advanced Open Water.

PEAK PERFORMANCE BUOYANCY COURSE As every diver knows, good buoyancy control is the mark of an excellent diver. In the past mastering buoyancy control has been primarily a function of building experience. Today, however, novice and experienced divers alike may improve their buoyancy control skills by participation in the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty. The Purpose of the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy specialty course is to assist all divers in polishing their buoyancy control beyond the Open Water Diver level. The goal of the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy training is to enhance the student's buoyancy control abilities through knowledge development and skills practice. Prerequisite certification for participation is PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent rating. Knowledge development is accomplished by viewing PADI's Peak Performance Buoyancy video and instructor led classroom discussions. Open water training consists of two dives which are completed in one day. Cert level required: Open Water.

DRIFT DIVER The drift diver course will help the student gain an understanding of some of the skills, knowledge, and hazards of diving in strong currents. The different types of currents are discussed, as well as some of the specialized equipment and techniques used during drift dives. Skills include buoyancy control, safety sausage deployments, in-water safety stops, communications, and more. Course includes 2 dives. Cert level required: Open Water.

DIGITAL UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY One of the most creative courses is the Digital Underwater Photographer Specialty. You will be introduced to the world of underwater photography. The principles of light, shadows, composition, and exposure control will apply to any camera system, whether it is a simple point and shoot camera in housing, or a top-of-the-line amphibious digital camera system. Cert level required: Open Water.

BOAT DIVER SPECIALTY COURSE Boat divers are a different breed, and this course teaches you everything you'll want to know about diving on a variety of small and large boats. The course is taught both prior to, during, and after the included boat dives. This course provides divers with a basic knowledge of dive boats operations, both small and large boats. Included is proper boat diving etiquette, personal conduct, basic dive boat terminology, local boat diving laws and/or ordinances. The class concentrates on performing important boat diving skills-boat diving entries and exits, use of emergency and safety equipment, and basic boating skills. Course is taught by 100 ton licensed boat captains and instructors. Cert level required: Open Water.

NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SPECIALTY COURSE During the course you’ll take your exploration skills to an advanced level by collecting data to construct a visual representation of what you explored. This project may result in a map, graph, sketch, diagram, photo essay or video. You and your instructor will decide on your area of focus and plan your dive accordingly. You’ll also gain navigational skills that will aid in the exploration process. Your exploration skills will give you a new appreciation for the aquatic environment and add enjoyment to each dive. You’ll find yourself sharing your discoveries with other divers and becoming a true underwater ambassador. Whether you are a certified PADI Diver or certified by another organization, you can take advantage of the National Geographic Specialty course. The course consists of a knowledge review based on information from the included National Geographic Diver Almanac and DVD. In addition, you'll fine-tune your buoyancy, navigation, exploration, and observation skills while on an open water dive. This course is open to all divers. Course includes DVD, 2-3 dives and special National Geographic Diver card. Cert level required: Open Water.

WRECK DIVERS SPECIALTY COURSE During the PADI Wreck Diver course, you will make four wreck dives, each with a purpose to help you be more confident when making future wreck dives. You will learn such techniques as navigating on a wreck, mapping wrecks, how to use lines for penetration, actual wreck penetration techniques, anti-silting procedures, proper equipment for wreck diving, limited visibility diving techniques, emergency procedures, and where to find more historical information on various shipwrecks. This course is one of most popular at our facility, since the area around our location offers an extensive variety of shipwrecks. They are all at various depths, so even beginning wreck divers will find dive sites well within their limitations. Course includes at least 2 boat dives. Cert level required: Advanced Open Water.

NIGHT DIVING SPECIALTY COURSE Night diving is the best way to see a completely different aspect of the underwater world. You'll see creatures that you never see during the day. You'll see the actual colors that the reef is composed of as your dive light brings it out. The course includes planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of night diving. Proper procedures for buoyancy control, navigation and communication. Use of dive lights and buddy-system techniques. Disorientation and emergency procedures. Orientation to nocturnal aquatic life. 3 Night dives and manual are included. Cert level required: Open Water

PADI EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONDER & PADI CARE FOR CHILDREN: Includes classrooms, student manual and PADI certification. For both divers and non divers. No prior certification required.
