How to Fit a Mask
|
First and foremost - find the mask that looks the coolest, because that's the most important thing once you're in the water, right?

Avoid leaky, poorly-fit masks! Follow these steps to find the right mask for you - one that seals well, fits comfortably and will perform best in the water. |
 |
1. The Mask Strap.
Your mask should fit and stay on your face without the strap, so bring it around to the front of the mask to get it out of the way while fitting.
|
2. Finding a good seal.
Tilt your head back and look straight up. Move all hair away and place mask gently on your face. Without touching the mask, breathe lightly in and out through your nose - a mask that seals well will rise and fall with light suction.
Breathe in lightly and tilt your head forward, looking straight ahead. If the mask seals well it will stay on your face with light suction. |
