Tokai Maru

Depth: 50 – 130 feet

The Tokai Maru is a WWII Japanese freighter, built in 1930, length 446 feet, a beam 60 feet. Sank by USS Snapper on August 27, 1943.

This is very popular with advanced and wreck divers. Visibility 20-60′. The ship rests on the port side and touches the SMS Cormoran. You can touch both the SMS Cormoran and the Tokai Maru at the same time, depth around 100′. The only place in the world where a WWI and WWII wreck make contact with each other.

The Tokai is a large ship and will take more than one dive to see everything.

Recommend diving on Nitrox.
